Costa Rica Real Estate
I am a bit of a car fanatic! When I was fifteen, my first major project was rebuilding a ‘69 Mustang fastback from the ground up … that was a sweet car but I kinda regret putting all that money into it as a kid. I worked full time after school in one of the Hotel at Coldwell Banker
to just pay for the restoration and when it came time to go to college I had to sell it to pay for tuition. I also wish that I had hung onto it because the car now would be worth in the condition I had it in in the late 70’s nearly $60,000.00, and I only got about $6500.00 for it when I sold it in the late 70’s.
On my oldest daughters 18Th birthday, I fixed up a ‘67 mustang for her and it was nearly in mint condition when I finished it. I couldn’t find all the stock parts where I was living at the time and had to settle for some new parts that made it not quite stock. She hung onto to it for a few years … then traded it for a new truck straight across … she really regrets it now because the truck is depreciating, but the mustang is worth more now than when she traded it.We came into the realization that it just have to be a matter of patience for everything. Now we are happy that the world has evolved and there are a lot of new schemes for cars and technology..It’s not too late to start all over again and my family wants to venture in buying old cars for remodeling and restoration.
